Spiritual Development
Christian faith leadership is taught to Hondurans at the Louise Mahaffey Bible Training Center. Visitors to the ranch are educated on Christianity in Honduras, and Hondurans and Americans both have an opportunity to share Christian beliefs. The Bible Training Center trains Honduran faith leaders in an 8-month, non-denominational, pastoral program in an effort to help them become better spiritual guides to their communities. Since its' inception 85 villages shared significant time with the new ranch pastor and heard first hand the love of Jesus Christ. Since 2000, eight classes of pastoral trainees have graduated providing over 100 students the ability to become better faith leaders in their communities.
The Agalta Valley Pastor's Association continues to flourish . Sunday School is being offered in several village churches, and worship services with ranch staff and visiting mission teams are offered weekly, as well as discipleship classes and Bible studies for the ranch staff.
