Professional Services

Throughout the year over 1200 people from every possible career path travel to Rancho el Paraiso in Honduras. In addition to mixing cement for new floors, installing chimneys to eliminate smoke in the homes, or building latrines, you may have a special talent or expertise that can help the people in the Agalta Valley in other ways.

  • Teachers can use their skills in the classroom by assisting a teacher during school hours, or observing teacher/student interaction to help ensure that students are learning the best way they can, or simply offering suggestions about new teaching supplies or techniques.
  • Doctors and dentists can assist at the Ranch clinic or conduct "mini clinics" in the villages.
  • Human Resource Directors or Management Consultants can conduct staff/team building seminars, management seminars, or time management seminars.
  • Electricians, plumbers, auto mechanics can always be helpful!
  • Chefs might find it interesting and challenging to work in the kitchen showing the kitchen staff new and improved methods of cooking!

If you are interested in helping in other ways, please contact our Group Coordinator in the Decatur office 6-8 weeks prior to your scheduled mission trip. That will give us time to assess the needs at the Ranch at that particular time and coordinate any necessary arrangements.
